Jan. 24th, 2010 11:51 pmI finished season 4 of "Lost" today. I was hoping to finish it yesterday and get a start on season 5 today, but I spent more time at friend J's than I was expecting to (which almost always happens and I'm okay with). So that didn't happen yesterday. So, I finished it today and figured I'd still get a couple episodes of season 5 in. Well, I finished off season 4, and then took care of a few things and then friend B called and asked, "Are we still on for dinner tonight?" To which I obviously replied, "Yes!" (even though I had completely forgotten about it - good thing we hadn't completely planned it out the other day when we were talking). So there went my evening (in a really good way!).
I might watch an episode before bed tonight, but that's starting to fade quickly. I'm still hoping and planning on being ready for when the sixth season starts Feb 2nd, so we'll see how that goes.
So far:
- I really like Hurley and Sawyer's relationship. I think it's an interesting one and I think that Sawyer now calls Hurley either Hurley or Hugo, I think is a big thing. (I've always thought that Sawyer's habit of calling people nicknames is a defense mechanism. Except for Kate after their experience with the Others.)
- I think Richard Alpert is a human manifestation of the Island. I'm not sure why, but I get that vibe from him.
