Aug. 6th, 2008 11:55 pmI've decided that I'm going to literally save my pennies (and nickles, dimes, and quarters) and do something big for my 30th birthday. Maybe see how much money I've amassed at that point, go to a travel agent and say, "I've got $X -where will that get me?"
I'm not sure what made me think of it, but I'm going to venture it's a mix between seeing various "Happy birthday ___" on LJ and just everything that's been going on here.
And, also, we've never been big on birthdays in my family. Sure, we had parties and all when my brother and I were little, but the last time I remember doing anything special was for my 13th birthday. (Which, oddly enough, was to go see Stargate.) Since then it's been going to my grandparents' for dinner. I didn't do anything special for my 21st because I was doing a show then and between that and school, it just never happened.
This should be interesting. Anyone interested in maybe doing something in about three and a half years?
