Yeee-ah. So, earlier this week, this box pops up and says that a major update for McAfee was avaiable for free and to click to get it. It had popped up once or twice before, but I didn't do anything about it. This particular time, though, I decided to go ahead and download it because, hey, keeping my computer safe is a good idea, right? Well, after it was installed, I could only get on AIM and MSN's IM, but not onto IE.
Yep, McAfee declared martial law on my laptop.
So, tonight I uninstalled McAfee and - you guessed it - was able to get on IE with no problem. I'm planning on reinstalling it tomorrow.
But I do have one question - if the reinstallation disc says,

"To ensure that your paid subscription is retained, complete McAfee Product Setup before using this cd. After reinstalling, if you are prompted to complete Product Setup again, use the 'Current User' link to retrieve your subscription,"where would I find said Product Setup?
