(no subject)

Was out of the building for maybe 30-45 minutes today between 10:30 this morning and 12:10 tonight. And that was to go to a meeting with the director of NSE's Antigone to discuss what she had in mind in the way of sound. But overall, today wasn't too bad considering I've hardly used the board we have here, so my mind was still in the mindset of the one at PTTP, and it was also a tech rehearsal (which usually means as quickly and accurately as possible). But Rich (the sound designer) is proud of me for how I came along today, so it's all good. And today did have it's amusing bits, like a spider on one of the tables during rehearsal, bowling with the 20 oz soda and water bottles and a plastic ball, random comments, etc. And Mindy (the stage manager) has the greatest voice when she's talking on headset - it's kinda breathy and stuff - which prompted Andrew to comment to me that he thinks she has a good phone sex voice.

And to think, I have to do it all again tomorrow. Joy. But I definitely think I'll survive and then I'll have Monday off to run around and get everything else done I couldn't this weekend.

Eergh. Should've tried to plan ahead somehow - I really wanted to go to Mass tomorrow morning at the Episcopal church just down the hill since it's at 7:30 so I could at least make it to church, but I highly doubt it's going to happen at this point, since I still have to get a shower and I think getting enough sleep is definitely a priority so I'm not falling asleep during rehearsal tomorrow.
