Jun. 4th, 2003 12:25 amSlowly but surely getting used to being here. It's not that bad. Well, except for the rain and unseasonably cold weather for June in the North Western hemisphere. Is there any way I can put in a request for at least a week of sunshine and 70 degree days?
I'm so glad that I took Eileen's audio class this past fall. We've been going over the basics of sound theory and what a console is and stuff yesterday and today and I feel that Eileen did a much better job of it. Not that Steve's a bad teacher or anything, just that I feel that his lectures have some holes in them.
But they have a digital board - which is pretty cool, imo. Lots of new stuff to learn on it, but still.
Finally finished most of my 'thank you' cards from my graduation (still waiting on two addresses). So far have gotten a couple of books that look really good, a $50 gift certificate to Bath and Body Works, and about $1850 in monetary gifts (whoa!).
