Jun. 2nd, 2003 11:49 pmWell, I made it through my first day here at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. Although, I'll admit that we didn't do much today since we have to wait for some other things to happen before we can tackle our stuff. But it seems like we're going to be doing a lot of different things and it's going to be a really good learning experience. I'm a little scared though, since I feel like I hardly know anything about what we're going to be doing, but that's why I'm here, right?
And my theory's still holding that theatre people are chefs who didn't go to cooking school (for whatever reason). It happened at PTTP and it's happening here. One of the guys was making curry tonight for dinner and Stephanie was made berry shortcake for everyone (had strawberries, blackberries, and rasberries and whipped cream - very good). Another girl also got a big tin of homemade cookies from her mom that she was passing around. (I know she didn't make them, but still...)
Little bit homesick, but I'm sure that I'll be fine once I get used to the new place. And my roommate decided to move into this empty room upstairs. Although, I do still have her DVD player, but my DVDs keep skipping in it and I know that they're fine. Maybe I'll ask her next time I see her.
Working on 'Thank You' from the party.
libralyte - I need your address. Hopefully I can work on a fic tomorrow. And at some point I'll have to figure out how to navigate the train system home. Fuuun.
