Tom Foss, PG-13
Tom Foss risked a lot to save a failed experiment who had never had a conscious thought before the day he saved him. You might think he acted out of some obscure loyalty to Adam Baylin. I think his reasons ran far deeper.

+1 on "Freedom's Just Another Word for Nothing Left to Lose" as a great SGA rec. If you haven't read the followup, "And the Band's Playing 'Hail to the Chief' (http://synecdochic.livejournal.com/99159.html#cutid1)," that's my rec to you.

Oh, it *is* a great fic rec. There were a few times while I was reading it where I was thinking, "OMG, this fic broke me." The follow up has been bookmarked and I can't wait to read it. Whether or not I can handle it is another story. :-P

As I was doing the recs, I commented to [livejournal.com profile] eternalmusings, "So what would the rating equivelant be for 'No sex, no violence, maybe one 'shit', and a whole lot of "OMG, this fic broke me".'?" And she was like, "I think that's your rating right there."
