Just saw a trailer for National Treasure: Book of Secrets and my main thought is "OMG, I love you!" I'm actually quite excited about it now.

We sold about 65 out of 90 copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows today - which for us is really good. The ones that are left are mainly people who had reserved who work at the University, so they'll be picking them up on Monday. I hope all of you who have gotten it and are reading it are enjoying it and that those of you who finished found it to be to your expectations.

And the Hewlett!love continues. From his Twitter - "Ah the pleasures of Target...ran into Chuck-nician...yes, we both got caught taking advantage of our g-friends 10% off cards ;-)"

And I still really enjoyed it. Both last night and tonight the audience seemed to really enjoy it. And both times there was even clapping at various points in the movie and at the end.

And I did not slash this movie at. all. Which is a first in a really long time for me. And I want Corny/Maybelle fic. *pouts* *then wanders off to see if I can find some on Google*

I have to admit - I think both Nikki Blonsky and Amanda Bynes are adorable. So, I had much fun watching them. And I think they both have bright futures ahead of them.

And both Queen Latifah and Christopher Walken need to be mentioned here because they're both just really cool.

I can't say anything in comparing Zac Ephron in this movie to High School Musical, since I'm sure that's what a lot of people are doing, because I haven't seen HSM yet. (*gasp* Shocking, isn't it?) I thought he did really well and has a lot of talent and potential. And on a really random side note - I like his hair better in this than in the candid pics I've seen of him.

And I think I'm in love with James Marsden now. For a while I was like, "yeah, whatever" - I think, mainly, because I've never been a big fan of Cyclops (which probably is a credit to him, since I kept the same level of indifference I had from the comics while watching the movies). Though, I did really like 24th Day - which he did with Scott Speedman and that I think everyone should watch because WOW. But while his character in Hairspray has some dorky moments, he's a lot of fun.

For those of you familiar with the original movie/stage show - I absolutely love Wilbur and Edna's song "(You're) Timeless to Me".

And you know what? John Travolta in drag is fun. And it was fun hearing the audience's reaction to him - the adults because most of them know him as John. Travolta. and the kids because, well, it's funny. The reviewer in our local paper didn't seem too keen on the way he played it and felt he played it too "straight" (her word). I, personally, think that she missed the point. Sure, he could've camped it up or something, but think about this - John Travolta in drag. That alone is pretty darn funny.

You know what's also a lot of fun, heading out of the theatre and overhearing a mother saying to her daughters (who are 10-ish) that people used to have posters of John Travolta up on their wall. I had to laugh because while I'm not in the appropriate age range to have done that, I am old enough to know what she's talking about.

So, now next week I'm going to shoot for seeing I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

And I'm still writing!
