Have I mentioned lately how much I love David Hewlett?
Has anyone else heard about the Jane Austen scam? My response: Dude, if you can't even vaguely recognize the first line of Pride and Prejudice in the whole "I'm sure I've heard/read that somewhere" sort of way, you shouldn't be in publishing. *shakes head* Some people are stupid. Go read the article - the whole thing's actually pretty interesting.
I saw Hairspray tonight and *loved* it. I think you should all go see it. I may even go see it again - but I'm going to try to wait until next weekend.
I know I'm up way too late, especially for having to work in the morning, but I think it's a combination of the soda at the theatre and my dog wandering off when I let her out right before I was originally going to go to bed (about an hour ago).
I believe Harry Potter is going to be crazy even for us tomorrow. I hope those of you who are buying it/have already bought it enjoy it and that it lives up to your expectations. I'll read it (and the others)......at some point.
I'm still doing really good with my writing. (Though, right now I consider writing every day to be 'doing really good'.) I have about 4,000 words already.
My spellcheck on Word 2002 isn't working. Any suggestions?
