Had a great time with [livejournal.com profile] nakedwesley this weekend. Friday night we watched the finales for SG-1 and SGA.

Saturday, after sleeping in (though, we did go to bed rather late, so it wasn't a true sleeping in), we went to Bob Evans for brunch (where I got their breakfast - yum). On the way back, we stopped at a local produce stand so she could get some veggies and I ended up getting some cherries (yum!) and some honey for my dad. (He like local honey.) Then we went back to her place and she cleaned out her car and I worked on my tan. And, actually, very little slave driving was involved. (Though, I did make her throw out some brake fluid and coolant that would've otherwise gone back in her car.) After which, we started working on cleaning her apartment, so she'll have an easier time moving in the next couple of weeks. And, apparently, I gave her the best birthday present ever by cleaning her kitchen. (And I actually didn't get to clean all of it, but at least enough to make it easier for her to finish.) Saturday evening we went to Red Lobster for dinner - which was quite yummy (even if they ran out of baked potatoes) and I got key lime pie for dessert in honor of her birthday (and [livejournal.com profile] nakedwesley had choclate cake). Aftewards, we went to see Evan Almighty - which was lots of fun. And I have to agree with [livejournal.com profile] nakedwesley, Steve Carell's new movie, Dan in Real Life, looks like it's going to be really good. I showed her some stuff on youtube when we got home before we both decided that sleep would be a really good idea.

Today we both slept in again. Then [livejournal.com profile] nakedwesley was good and did some more sorting. I wasn't and read fic. Then we decided food would be a good idea and went out to Chili's to eat lunch. Afterwards, we went grocery shopping. Not the most fun activity, but I personally had a good time trying to think up "grocery shopping" fic ideas for SGA while in the produce aisle. Back at her place, we watched Where the Heart Is - which was cute. (And David Hewlett is just way too good looking as Cupid.) Then I helped her transfer a few boxes of books to her car.

After which, I had to leave and come home. :-(

Oh, and I preordered a copy of A Dog's Breakfast. :-D
