libralyte. It was a nice day for a drive, and she's not all that far, so it was fun. After running a couple errands, we were on our way back to my place. We went grocery shopping and then hung out for a while before meeting Beth for dinner at Soffrito's, a local Italian place, before the three of us came back here to hang out for a while more.
Yesterday, the three of us went to Va La, a local winery, to try their new wines. It's a $7 tasting for 4 wines, but you get about a quarter of a glass for each, plus they give you local hand-made cheeses as well to try with them. And there's also bread bits and olive oil with different seasonings to try and they have other spreads and such out to try as well. And yesterday, they gave us two extra wines to try. Afterwards, we sat out on their deck for a while to enjoy the sun before going back to see Beth's parents for a while. From there, the three of us went to dinner at Ruby Tuesday's. On our way home,libralyte and I stopped at Blockbuster and rented Flushed Away and Kettle of Fish, but we ended up watching her copy of Shaun of the Dead - which was quite fun.
Today, we went and saw Blades of Glory - which we both really enjoyed. Then we went into Newark and ate at Peace-a-Pizza and wandered around for a while, poking in a few different shops, before getting gelato from Caffe Gelato and sitting out in the sun to enjoy it. We came home and hung out for a while before going to the mall. I used up the last of a gift card to get a copy of the Masterpiece Theatre version of Jane Eyre that showed a few months ago. And we just finished watching Flushed Away.
