It's starting to get to the point with SGA fic that I'm actually starting to reread stuff. Unintentionally.
My dad came to me the other night and asked if he could borrow my laptop for when he and my grandparents go on their trip at the beginning of May "because all the KOAs (campgrounds) have wifi". (Previously, I've let them borrow my little-better-than-a-paperweight laptop that I haven't used since I graduated.) I thought, "Why?" but told him I'd think about it. And then he made a crack about knowing that I've got all my top secret plans to take over the world on my laptop and he didn't want to press a wrong button. And I couldn't help but think, "No, but myporn fanfic's on here."
(This is a running joke between us, since I have a Saturday routine where I go run regular errands and then go out to lunch and read fanfic. He knows I take my computer with me, but not what I do, and since I don't tell him, hence the "taking over the world" cracks. And the fact that I've worn my "System Lord" tshirt a few times probably hasn't helped either.)
And I feel like my warranty's been renewed or something. Monday, I had an appointment with my dermatologist for a skin check (I've had a few benign moles removed) and to get refill prescriptions (for my acne rosacea meds). I do have some vitiligo on my stomach (patches of skin lose pigment - neither doctor seemed very worried about it). Then Tuesday I had a physical and got a thing to get bloodwork done. I'm in very good shape, aside from all the extra weight, and (from the sound of it) I've got an athelete's heart (which, apparently comes from riding my bike to and from work as much as possible). And then next week I have a dentist appointment.
Tomorrow night's new SG-1 and SGA!
Sunday's the 2-hour premiere of Tim Minear and Nathan Fillion's new show, "Drive", on FOX at 8.
