Oct. 20th, 2006 12:42 amYou know, it feels weird "getting it" something so quickly, since I'm usually the last one on the bandwagon.
So, as
eternalmusings and I were watching Heroes on Monday, I told her that I thought I had figured out Peter (the younger brother)'s power - he can pick up other people's powers for a limited time, a la Rogue from the X-Men.
Evidence - he's flown once and levitated - both either after or during being in the presence of his brother, he's drawn a (stick figure) picture of him doing the latter after spending some time with Isaac. And I don't think he stopped time or jumped forward when he was talking to Hero!Hiro, but that was more Hiro's doing, since they hadn't met yet at that point. (Though, oddly, the start of them meeting was what made me go *lightbulb* "Wait a minute!")
And then I happened to pick up this week's TV Guide when I was in the drugstore and they had a spread about all the characters and their powers and it said "spoiler alert" before stating his Rogue-like power.
And my mom and I have started watching season two of "House" and we're through the first four episodes. We're both having fun watching it and I'm having a lot of fun watching the whole House/Wilson dynamic. They're *such* a couple and I'm enjoying watching it because so much of their relationship is so......normal. Obviously, they're not a couple (though most of us wish they were), but they're such a married couple.
