I'm enjoying playing with my new laptop and getting everything set up and just the way I like it. And I was surprised that in the "Sample Music" folder, there were, like, 80 mp3s. I deleted most of them, but kept a couple that seem promising.

Other than that, it seems like it's been "nothing but work, work, work all the time." And not in a bad way - just that there's not much going on. I'm getting things organized for this year's NaNo. And am ready to go to CreationCon in Seacacus in the beginning of November. (It still hasn't completely sunk in yet.)

I went and saw The Illusionist with a friend of mine over the weekend*. We haven't spent time together for a while and she wanted to go see a movie and do lunch, so I agreed, and that one was the only one that really fit into our schedule (and she's a bigger chick-flick watcher than I am).

My brother's turning 23 tomorrow (later today, whatever - on the 17th). Which means that next month I will be 25. When did that happen?!?

Now, if I could just get myself organized and get things done, I'd be a happy camper.


*It's now double what I told you, eternalmusings. And, yes, I do realize what obsessive means and that you're more than likely laughing at me.
