So.... It looks like Stargate SG-1 has been cancelled. This really bums me out.

I'm sorry for inadvertantly killing it by joining the fandom.

BTW, where did you hear this? Maybe it's not true. I know they cancelled a game based on the series.

I first heard it on a "Sentinel" list, but then I went to GateWorld (http://www.gatworld.net) because I thought the same thing - that it wasn't true. But, apparently, it is. Though, Robert Cooper (one of the producers/creators) isn't giving up hope yet.

Me, too. I literally just got into it Saturday after seeing a taped copy of the 200th episode and got the first three seasons on DVD today, only to log on and see the news. :P

I think I remember thinking at one point when I joined that I wouldn't be surprised if the show got cancelled after I joined. Then I think I felt a bit of relief when it was renewed for a 10th season. (I didn't actually get to watch the ninth "live" because I was getting caught up on the other eight.) But it would figure now that I'm all caught up and everything....

But you will love the show. :-D
