So, my body *really* hates me. Since I last posted, the allergic reaction has gotten worse. I got some Benedryl yesterday morning and the first dose seemed to help, but the second one didn't. And since it's the worse break out I've had, my boss let me leave work early to go to the doctor. So I got some Prednisone-type stuff yesterday evening and took off from work today. The itching's mostly gone, but I was completely wiped most of the day today and the low-grade fever I have is kicking my ass too - my body's not sure if it wants to be hot or cold. And my right eye hurts a tiny bit.

And this sucks because I don't know what caused it and it's been getting worse over the past two days. I'm just hoping it comes to a turning point tonight while I'm asleep and I can start healing. Either way, my doctor wants me to call her tomorrow morning when she comes into work and give her a status report. Even though she doesn't have any idea what's causing it, she's really cool.

Well, the Benedryl I took at 8 is really starting to kick in and I need to go take my next dose of the Predisone-stuff and get some sleep.

I think I've mostly gotten on top of the hives, but now I'm worried about some possible side effects of the methylprednisone - coughing and dry-ish breathing and my right eye feels rather warm. So my doctor's going to get a call tomorrow.
