I am now finished through the end of season 6 of SG-1 and I'm still loving the show.


General episode thoughts:
- "Abyss" was a really good episode. Aside from all of the great Jack/Daniel stuff, I really liked the forced perspective in/of the cell.
- I loved "The Other Guys", if for nothing else than the geek factor. And the two guys illustrating the point of the difference between geeks and nerds and doing it in an understated way.
- "Unnatural Selection" was a rather neat episode. Fifth was pretty cool.
- I think I've fallen in love with Christopher Judge for "The Changeling". That was a really interesting episode. And I loved Teal'c calling Jonas "probie bear". And Corin in that apron.
- "Full Circle" was good, but why did Anubis have to take out Abydos? Grrr. And Ska'ara had asked Jack to be his best man too!


Two requests:

1. Does anyone know where a good place to get SG-1 season 9 downloads would be? Or would someone be willing to make me copies?

2. Does anyone know where I can get some good post-apoc fics? I'd rather it be in either the Jossverse, Sentinel, or the Stargate 'verse, but I'm willing to look elsewhere.

Saw this on a random surfthrough of assorted journals and had to comment.

One of the best SG-1 apocalyptic fic series is This is Not War Time (http://mouldiwarps.shriftweb.org/Not_Wartime.html) by cofax7.

Then there is the community apocalypse_latr, which is multi-fen.
