Well, I didn't hit 50,000 words, but I did finish the story - which I'm very happy about. And I know that if I hadn't had that allergic reaction from hell and therefore needed to take prednisone, I would've been able to hit it.

And if anyone's interested in reading the *really* rough draft, comment and I'll send it to you.

Next year, I swear I'm going to do it.
