Nov. 22nd, 2005 02:08 amWell, I've refigured my daily writing count so I can see about finishing by the end of the month and am now back on track. I've had to give up my days at the end of the month that I was hoping to just relax, but I had built them in for something like this, so I think everything will be fine.
Am very happy that I don't have to take that horrid medicine any more. I was taking a type of prednisone last week because about two and a half weeks ago, I started having a *really* bad allergic reaction to something. (Which, as far as I can figure at this point, was a White Barn Candle.) Regular sized hives all over my thighs and on a bit of the backs of my calves (but not very far past the knee), and hives under my upper arms that were probably about the size of quarters. And Benadryl wasn't helping. The medicine worked wonders in clearing things up (though I still have one or two spots that itch off and on), but since once of the side effects was energy, my heart would beat a little faster and I wouldn't be able to go to bed at my normal time because I was wide awake, and then when I did, I didn't sleep very well.
And my doctor kicks ass. I don't have regular insurance yet (*kicks place of work*), so she only charged me $10 for the visit and then the prescription came out to be about $14.

Date: 2005-11-25 05:59 am (UTC)Yes! You *must* come down, even if I have to come up there and get you myself! (And I'm going to see about maybe taking some time off this time around to spend with you, but we shall see.) Miss you too.
*hugs you tightly*
