sam_gamgeeHad a *very* good weekend. Got to relax and do a few things that I've been meaning to - like finish a scarf I've been working on, which came out quite nicely. anaidiana, which was a lot of fun. This weekend went by way to quickly, but was definitely what the doctor ordered.

the_fund in exchange for some icons made by soft_princess. It's a neat idea for those interested in a more personal approach to helping those affected by Katrina.
Am also planning on writing a check for Noah's Wish. Last Saturday may have been Shadow's time to go, but if I can help keep someone else's pet, I'm going to.
Forgot two things that helped me get through this past week.
1. "Prison Break". Even though it's on FOX, I've got hopes for it. It seems like it's actually going to be a good show. And, for those of you who saw the premiere, I had no idea about the tattoo reveal, so I thought it was pretty cool. Plus, I'm beginning to suspect that the whole prison setting is a kink for me.
2. One evening when I was riding my bike home, I passed these four guys in a truck. The driver honked his horn at me as he and the front passenger pointed at me and the front passenger yelled, "Big girls need loving too!" Part of me feels like I should be offended, but every time I think about it, I can't help but smile. (Maybe it's because of one of Marc Blucas' scenes in Summer Catch, which cemented a place for him in my heart.)
