WTF? That's all I have to say - WTF?
Today was just one of those days that was insanely busy, plus stressful - but stressful in a lot of little stressful things sort of way. So am very glad it's over. Here's hoping tomorrow's better.
But I now have a new love in my life. It's called "Blind Justice" and it's on ABC on Tuesdays at 10. (And, no, I'm not cheating on "Queer Eye".) It was even better than I had hoped for from seeing the previews and I've fallen completely in love. Possibly (gasp!) even more than "Lost" (but that remains to be seen, no pun intended). I can't wait for next week.
Am highly amused. My Uncle Byron and Aunt Monica gave us a subscription to "Time" for Christmas and the new issue came today and when I got home after Bible Study tonight, it was on the kitchen table next to my stuff and open to the article called "Queer Eye for Straight TV" and, from what I can tell since I haven't read it yet, it's about the gay influence in television this season. Looks like it'll be pretty cool. The only person that would've done that would be my dad, since I haven't seen my brother yet today and, besides, Chase doesn't know I watch "Queer Eye" or have a sneaking suspicion that I'm a lesbian (as far as I know at any rate, though I think my dad's over the second one).
And here's my quick Author Apprecation, since there's no way I'd remember to do it every day this week.
serafina20 - You all *knew* this one was coming, didn't you? There's "Corner of the World", obviously. But the rest of her stuff is great too. I can't sing her praises highly enough.
thebratqueen - I love "Protocol" and the "Epiphany" series. And I think she's a great writer. (As does, I think, everyone else in fandom.)
mpoetess - Skelping. Enough said.
wesleysgirl - I love her Wesley.
The whole T&B crew - I never would've thought that it could work, but it does and *damn* is it good.
And a special shout-out to
lunanne for being my enabler.
I'm rereading my first fic and switching between rolling my eyes and thinking "It's *hoorrible*!" (a la Ted) and laughing at it and being amazed at how much I've matured as a writer since 1996. I just might post it somewhere so you all can gawk and laugh at it along with me.
