Hopefully this is the end of the ping-ponging and I'm back on track now. But I guess time will tell.

Missed having "Lost" on last night. SV wasn't too bad, but I expected more since Steve DeKnight was cowriting. So, I'm attributing the good bits to him. :-P I did really like "Alias", though, but that might just be because I'm biased towards Drew Goddard. It was just a really good episode.

And! I saw that Drew wrote the "Lost" ep that's airing on February 16th. Out of all the ideas floating around about the island and everything, I really like the one about them being in Purgatory the best. I can't really say why, since I'm not (nor have I ever been) Catholic, so I don't exactly buy into that, but it just seems like a really interesting idea. Anyway, my idea is that since Drew's ep is supposed to be another Sawyer episode and supposedly going to reveal a connection between him and Jack, I'm really beginning to wonder about Sawyer's character and if maybe he's supposed to be a manifestation of evil or the devil. I know so far (from what I know, since I haven't been following any spoilers aside from inadvertantly getting this one) all we have to back this up is the fact that he's been hoarding a lot of stuff (which could just be a weird obsessive-compulsive sort of thing) and the fact that he was in the police station in Sydney the same time Boone was. And the fact that some peope have been passing around the idea that he and Sayid have been on the island for longer than the others, but not at long as Danielle, based on some of their lines, actions, etc. Hmm. Wouldn't it be interesting if Sawyer *was* a demon/devil/evil/whatever and Sayid's an angel/good/whatever?

I hope you got at least some sleep. And it's very! But at least now it's done and over with and you can start healing. And having the guys wait on you hand and foot like the queen you are. (And hopefully they'll be so trained by the time you're completely healed that they'll keep doing it after you're done.)

And I'm going to stop abusing the word 'and' now. :-P

Oooh, my first Lost 'spoiler'. Fascinating theory. What is it about Sawyer and Sayid that makes people think they've been there longer? I'm curious. Where do you go to get your Lost info, or do your friends just talk about it more?

Wording to some of the things they've said (or even possibly things they haven't said) and the fact that every time we've seen the plane crash, we've seen numerous other characters, but never those two. Well, I got that bit from tvtome.com when I was looking some stuff up because I found out Drew was writing an episode. Most of the rest that I've heard came from a couple jaunts to a "Lost" community.
