sam_gamgeeSo this year, I took part in the Due South/Canadian Six Degrees Valentine's Day cardathon. I found a great card for my person, which I'll post about after the reveal on the 14th.
But I wanted to share the one I received, because it's awesome. It started off with a "Hee! It's a curling stone!" squee:
Then you pulled the handle up and the note was written inside:
"Dear Ray, Thank you for trying to learn to curl despite your (perhaps deserved) apprehensions. It was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday with you, truly, up until - the accident. I may have let my hunger for a real cultural exhange between us lead to a certain degree of inattenion to safety measures, and for that I sincerely apologize. :(
"I will be there, by your side (after the conclusion of my shift at the consulate) to provide the traditional chicken soup and the less traditional but far more elaborate cheese biscuits for as man televised baseball games as you should desire.
"Happy Valentine's Day
