My mom came over tonight and we watched some of the Mummers' Fancy Brigades from New Year's Day, since she'd never seen them. She then went through my DVR and we watched an episode of "Mentalist" and "Daily Show with Jon Stewart".

The guest on "Daily Show" was Josh Brolin. As the interview started, my mom said, "Wow, he really looks like his dad, when his dad was younger." And I thought he was hysterical - much more of a sense of humor than I expected. Yeah, there's definitely still a crush going on there on my end.

I just saw him in a movie called Hollow Man (with Kevin Bacon) and he was one of the better things about it. :-)

Heh. That's one of those movies that I want to see, but I've heard enough bad things that I keep putting it off. But he and Kevin Bacon are the main reasons I want to see it.

I've loved him in everything I've seen him in and definitely recommend his works. And if you haven't seen Men in Black 3, he does a great version of a younger Tommy Lee Jones. It's awesome.

Oh, thanks for the rec, I haven't seen that yet but I did want to! Hollow Man was NOT terrible, it was just pretty mediocre. But there are a couple of strong women characters in it.

You're welcome! It was a highly enjoyable movie (as the previous two MIB were). And it looks like Hollow Man is going on my list then. :-)
