The regular tv season hasn't started yet and I'm already loving the dvr. I'm thinking there's a very good chance I won't be giving it back after the free trial is over.
We've had a dvr for about seven years (TiVo is far superior to all other dvrs, btw) and I literally do not understand how people can watch television without a dvr. How do anyone survive without a pause button, and eight-second rewind?
I maintain that family harmony is only maintained because we can talk to each other without making one another miss vital bits of television, by virtue of the pause live tv function.
And I grew up in the 70s without even a vcr in the house! ;-)
LOL. So far I'm really enjoying it and the season hasn't even started. :-P I've mainly been using it for "Daily Show" and "...Craig Ferguson" so far. I have a feeling I'm going to really enjoy it starting this week.
We did have a VCR in the house, but I was the only one who knew how to program it. :-P One of my favorite moments is still my dad asking me to tape a season finale of "The O.C." for him.
