As I figured - I woke up at 6:30 again this morning, even though I didn't need to. I think part of it is my mom's guest bed's mattress is some sort of memory foam, so it's super comfy. And one of her cats starts crying for my mom and stepdad at about 6am. She's good at stopping when I tell her to, but still.... (I pet-sat for them this past week.) And even though I didn't have to get up then, I was wide awake, so I decided I might as well.

After taking care of the animals, I went to Panera for breakfast. I used to go every weekend, both Saturday and Sunday, for a few years (it was a defense mechanism with my dad), but I haven't actually been in a few months. I decided to go last Sunday and today as part of the "vacation" feel of staying at my mom's place. It was really nice having yummy food, reading fic, and doing a bunch of knitting for a cousin's wedding gift. And it was nice having the confirmation of "I enjoy coming here, but it's not necessary for me to do so on a regular basis anymore."

This evening, I went over to Jean's and we got take-away and watched the "Sherlock" episode "Hound of the Baskervilles". During this time, I was also doing more knitting, and realized I'd made the gift too big (I'm working on transposing it from a crochet pattern), I had to frog it and restart it. On the upside, I got almost halfway back to where I was when I ripped it out, so I *should* be able to finish catching up, as well as surpass it tomorrow.

Melissa also came over and we watched "Doctor Who" together. It was a fun episode and there was a surprisingly familiar face in it too. :-)
