Jan. 15th, 2012 11:59 pmGotta love productive weekends. And bargain shopping. :-)
And today I went to the mall and used some Teavana gift cards for some herbal teas that sounded and smelled really good, but haven't tried either yet. I got Strawberry Lemonade and Pinapple Kona Pop. I would've also gotten the Citrus Lavender Sage, but I was doing my best in trying to stay as close to the gift cards' balances as possible. So, for 8 oz (4 of each), I personally spent a total of $6.10.
Then I made the mistake of going to Yankee Candle to see what they had left in their sale (not much). And I told myself I was going to spend a max of $20. So I found two medium sized jar candles of holiday scents I like, because it was $20 exactly and took it up to the register and the cashier told me that they were doing a 2-for-$25 on the larger jar candles and I told her I knew, but I was being good and she told me that they also had some extra $10 off coupons, which I could use. So I was able to get the 2 larger jar candles of the same scent for $15.
I now have enough tea to last me for quite a while, as well as a holiday scented candle for next year and the year after for just over $21. Awesome!
Maybe one of these days I'll turn into an extreme couponer. :-P
