Has anyone ever used or currently use a neti pot? What did/do you think of it? Did/Has it helped you?

I use a squeezie bottle, which is the same thing, only... it's a bottle. It's really helped a lot, especially when I'm completely stuffed up.

I also use a plastic squeeze bottle with the saline powder and it is a great help. My ENT doctor recommends this and a humidifier. I use oxygen every night which drys out my nose so this all helps. Else I get nose bleeds and very sore nose.

Every time I ever tried to use one, I left moisture in my sinuses and gave myself a head cold for a few days. I decided it wasn't worth it.

I just read an newspaper article about people who have gotten sick and died because they used tap water in them instead of purified/boiled and cooled water so...

Please don't use tap water when you use it!
