Oct. 23rd, 2003 12:32 amI am reclaiming the word 'diet'. To me it will still mean (according to Merriam-Webster's):
1 a: food and drink regularly provided or consumed (noun)
or
1 b: habitual nourishment (noun)
But it *will* *not* mean:
1 c: the kind and amount of food prescribed for a person or animal for a special reason (noun)
or
2: to cause to eat and drink sparingly or according to prescribed rules (verb)
or
reduced in calories [adjective] (even though I'm pro'ly doing this just by eating better)
