My iTunes and iPod are being pains in my ass. Last night when I opened my iTunes, an error message came up. I thought it was just being weird and clicked it off, then plugged in my iPod to update it and iTunes wouldn't recognize it and told me I had to restore it, so I did and now it won't add songs to it. (Any.)

Does anyone know anything about a 42408 error in iTunes? All the info I've been able to find is for after updating to iTunes 9.0.3, but I did that a while ago and have used it a bunch of times since and it's been fine.

And Apple's website is a pain and confusing.

I checked the iTunes discussion boards and someone on there said that they were getting the error, so they deauthorized their computer, closed out iTunes, reopened iTunes, and authorized the computer again and that fixed it. Said they haven't had any issues since.
