sam_gamgeeThis weekend was both long enough and not quite long enough.
Yesterday, I trekked up to Concord Pike (which is north Wilmington), for a massage. Yes, I realize that there are massage places closer to me, but it was cheap! ($20!) It was part of the clinic that the National Massage Therapy Institute does so their students get practice. And the girl I had was good and afterwards my shoulders hurt a bit, but I had told her to work on them, since I'd been feeling tension in them and once she was done, it was more of a "I just worked out" sort of pain, which went away quickly. And I felt really relaxed too, so yay. I've already scheduled another appointment to go next month.
I also went to J's last night and hung out with her and M. I got to meet her new kitty, Tennant, and we watched a couple of David Tennant's "Doctor Who" episodes. And it's kind of funny and frustrating trying to talk to them about the show, because M is more of a "Torchwood" girl, though she's seen some DW, and J's seen more DW than M, but not all of it, so I'll say something and get a blank look from them and then think, "Spoilers!" and backpedal. But the conversation we had after the second episode was highly amusing because we were talking about DW and the Face of Boe possibly being Jack and then that morphed into taking about John Barrowman and his family - which you'd've thought M and I knew him personally. (Yeah, I wish.) But we'd both read his memoir and she's been following him. It was a fun evening.
Today, I went to the mall and used some more of my Teavana gift card and got a herbal tea called "Azteca Fire" - I'm trying to go with no caffeine and they didn't have any decaf black or green teas. Plus, it intrigued me because it's supposed to have chocolate, strawberries, and chili powder. I'm also curious what was going down tonight that Twitter was at overcapacity at 10pm on a Sunday night.
But when I finally checked back, I was rewarded with this from Colin Ferguson:
@colinferg: Gym is done and off to Yoga to try and fix my back.... yoga seems scary. I hope the pretty, pretty girls are nice to Niall, Matt and I.
@colinferg: Yay!! Now we got @mishacollins comin too! Now it's four guys who have no idea what they're doing.
@colinferg: ALL DUDES! We bother to go to yoga and IT'S ALL DUDES... what up with that. Went well though. None of us died.
