sam_gamgeeThis morning was really good. I was up and out the door on time and was able to get to Supercuts before they got crowded. I then hit the bank (which is practically right next door) and took care of a few things. From there, I stopped at Panera for brunch and watched an episode of OZ.
Came home, started the laundry and did a few other things.
Then I went to the mall - which was INSANE. You would've thought it was Christmas. (I guess that's what all the snow will do to people, since this is the first really good weekend in a while.) It took me *forever* to find a parking spot. Granted, part of that was because I had my dad's truck - which is wider and longer than mine, which makes it a *huge* PITA to park (and especially when I can't pull through). I was able to use my coupon for a free small candle at Yankee Candles. That was the good part of the excursion. I wasn't able to find any work pants. I swear, I don't get women's fashions. First off, there isn't the size consistency that men's has. And there's this one particular brand of pants that I really like and that works for me and I've started having issues with because I can pick out two pairs that are the SAME EXACT BRAND, SIZE, AND COLOR and one pair will fit and other other won't. WTF? *headdesk* *sighs*
From there, I went to get groceries. About halfway there, I patted my pocket for my cellphone just as a reassurance. It wasn't there. I figured I'd stuck it either in a different pocket or in the middle console in the truck - no such luck. I pulled into a parking lot to look, but couldn't find it. Took a couple deep breaths to keep from crying because there was *NO WAY* I was going back to the mall to look for it - the phone was 99% gone at that point. Then noticed my phone in the little cubby just under the radio and breathed a sigh of relief. Continued on my way to get groceries and then home.
But my mood was definitely down from this afternoon's frustrations. (And considering that my horomones are all over the place with it being almost... you know.)
On the upside, I am enjoying OZ season 4 so far.
