Aside from the scare of my dad and his snowblower disappearing for about an hour, today was a good day. (He was helping our next door neighbors, and from there went to help a neighbor!friend down the street with a pile of snow the plows had left, then another neighbor!friend asked to "rent" his snowblower, and my dad stopped and helped a few other neighbors along the way.)

Even with getting *25 inches*, I'll admit pine trees with snow are still pretty.

I read a bunch of fic. And made a bit of progress in putting my "Fics to Read" folder in order. I haven't done it since mid-November and there's a lot of stuff in there with all the Seekrit Santas and other holiday ficathons, plus at least two Big Bangs (SGA and Leverage). I won't have to worry about needing something to read for a while. :-P

I also watched a few more episodes of "Oz" today. I'm really enjoying it. And it's fun watching the cast, because so many of them have gone onto other things that I've seen and they look a lot younger in this. (Except for Harold Perrineau.)

I can't find an exact total for my area, other than 20+ inches. I need to go dig out the rest of my car so I can go to work today. :( (not that we'll have any customers...)

Remember the infamous snowstorm when we were flying home from LA? Was that 2003? I still can't believe we were crazy enough to try getting home. Then again, we were young and naive. lol

I was surprised that my boss made us have the store open on Saturday - especially after the State of Emergency was called. Thankfully, I didn't have to go in.

LOL. How could I forget that snowstorm? I think it was 2003. Young, naive, and not sure what else to do. :-P (Thank God for my dad!) DFW Airport still has a "special" place in my heart (even if it doesn't have one-hour photo processing).

I know! Some of the drifts come up to my waist!

And we're supposed to get another foot (or there abouts) on Tuesday!

(There goes my therapist visit. :-( )
