Oct. 25th, 2009 03:18 pmThe inconveniences of having to go to the library for internet access and laryngitis aside, this has been a good weekend so far.
I watched two episodes of "Queer as Folk" yesterday while I was waiting for my laundry to finish. I think this time I'm going to make myself finish it because even though I'm spoiled for how a few things end, I still want to actually see it (in the "it's like watching a train wreck" sort of way). (This is a big part of the reason why I like being unspoiled for things. And it's funny, because when I started shying away from spoilers, it wasn't for any specific reason, I just kinda... did. And I haven't regretted it.)
And last night I watched Monsters vs Aliens - which was cute and funny and I thought did a good job with the references to other shows/movies/etc. And I loved B.O.B. breaking up with Derek. That's probably my favorite break-up scene ever. :-P
Have also been rereading the zine form of
xanthefic's "Hiding in Plain Sight" - which is fun.
And there's also been writing. Though, my "due South" Seekrit Santa keeps stumping me. My muse can be such a pain. I'm having fun with it, though.
