I will be very glad when a) my laryngitis goes away and b) I get my new laptop. It definitely makes it harder to write when I have to go to the library every so often to type things up. But I've being good and keeping up with my writing plans.

I think SGU is *slowly* growing on me. We'll see, though. I think the main thing that rankles me, aside from the valid points others have brought up is the fact that SGU seemed to get *a lot* of press before the show started. And I don't remember even a quarter of that for either SG-1 or SGA.

Re: SGU, I liked last night's episode best so far of all the ones I've seen. I like it, but I don't love it. I loved SGA right off the bat (though admittedly I was able to watch many episodes all in a row because I got all of S1 at once, LOL).

Yeah, it seems like I like it more, as the show progresses, but I still don't feel much of a connection. If I still wasn't in my "trial phase", I don't know if I'd keep up with it (since "Dollhouse" is at the same time, so I've been catching up on SGU when it reruns). Not sure how much longer I'm going to keep up with it. Like, I don't remember any moments where I've really fallen for a character. Hell, by now on SGA, we've had at least one moment for even Rodney ("In-vuln-era-ble!" :-D)
