Aside from the beach, I miss the A/C.

It's amazing the things you can find on the internet. I've been researching stuff in a town in Oklahoma for a fic, and so far I've found everything that I could think that I'd need for it.

Also found something amusing for you "Angel" fans - Lindsey McDonald went to Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska. Why he would want to go to a Christian (Presbyterian) liberal arts college for pre-law is beyond me, aside from maybe getting out of Oklahoma.

And I know that some of you have been waiting very patiently for my Gunn/Giles fic, but it's been put on hold while I deal with another plot bunny that won't let me go.

Yes, I know. I wanted to finish the G/G fic by now, but, frankly, I was a little burned out on it and thought that by stepping back for a bit, it'd help make it better. And I could also use the time to deal with the rabid plot bunny that keeps annoying me. So it's all of the good, really.

But seriously, taking a step back can be useful even if it's frustrating for those of us who wanna read the finished product.

Yeah, well, my logic's telling me to finish the other story so that it's done. So I guess I'm being illogical as well. :0)
