I think I got a Hail Mary last night in regards to my computer restarting and working after the tea incident. This morning, I turned it on to see if it would work and it came on, but the mouse/touchpad wouldn't work. Good thing I transferred all my stuff over to the external harddrive last night.

At this point, I'm starting to wonder if maybe I should just get a new laptop. This is the third bad thing that's happened to it (and second in just over a month). And it is three years old, which is practically ancient in computer years. I'll ask John about it tomorrow night when I'm over at my mom's and see what he thinks.

Only three years old? *sigh* Mine is six years old! It's such a dinosaur...I need a new one in the worst possible way. *whine*

Well, I *had* been hoping to get at least another year or two out of this one before I got a new one. And now things seem to be fine with it, so who knows. I'm going to take things one day at a time and be extra careful.
