I was in a bouncy good mood this afternoon at work. Which is probably good, since we were stocking and folding and hanging clothes gets boring and tedious *very* quickly if you don't have something to keep you mentally happy.

My thoughts included "His Name is Lancelot" from Spamalot, the technicalities of House and Murphy (the downstairs neighbor) having sex given their disabilites, and booking the hotel for The Con Con in case it happens (which I'm hoping it will and that we'll hear soon about it).

And I had a chance to be sociable tonight. My friends Jean and Dana had a Partylite "catalogue party" or whatever it's called - basically the "party" without the spiel, just the holiday catalogue,new scents, and some of the new holders/stands/etc. It was nice getting to hang out with them and Melissa.

I have lost track of House, a couple of seasons ago. But this I must know about! Please tell me a little about Murphy? I love interesting characters w/disabilities!

He's Wilson's downstairs neighbor and personality-wise, he seems a lot like House - very prickly and *so* not a people person. He lost his right hand and part of his forearm due to a grenade blast. House actually willingly helped him with his "phantom hand" (or whatever the correct term is) pain (though he did it in a totally House-ian way). And because of Hugh Laurie and David Marciano's (I'm sure inadvertant) chemistry, I started thinking about how they'd have sex due to House's leg and Murphy's arm. :-P (And then started feeling weird because I ship House/Wilson harder than I thought.)

And on another note - if you're a Due South fan, I'm sure you'll think this is amusing - Murphy's Canadian and has a Canadian flag in his apartment. I'm sure my mom was wondering what I was giggling at. (And if you're not, just ignore the previous bit. :-P)
