Somehow, with no discernable plans for the weekend, it turned into a Weekend. To. Get. Things. Done. But in a good way.

Obviously, some of it was routine stuff - cut the grass, do laundry, go grocery shopping, etc.

The un-routine bit was I finally made myself do a bit of cleaning in my room, so it would look like I have "normal" organizational skills to the untrained eye. I will admit, it did feel good to get things cleaned up.

I also beat my fanfic webpage into submission. Well, I beat the table I'm using on the page into submission, so now it looks the way I want it to. I also have a new address for the website, since Geocities is closing in the fall. (And I didn't procrastinate too much for once!) The "new" site can be found here.

And I did a bunch of tv and movie watching. Movie-wise, I watched Passchendaele, Paul Gross' labor of love about the WWI battle that his grandfather was in, and Hello, Dolly! I did like the first one, though my brain's still trying to reconcile the ending with things I've heard from PG, but whatever. The latter I liked as well - you don't see movie musicals like that any more. And it was fun to see Walter Matthau as one of the leading men.

TV-wise, I've finally gotten around to finishing up Prison Break and watched a bunch of episodes of Season 3 over the weekend. And seeing Michael's tattoos in "Bang and Burn" made me happier than they should have. I love this show more than I probably should.

And here's a letter to the editor that was in the paper that made me roll my eyes, hit my head against the table and think, "No shit, Sherlock! I could've told you that the film probably sucked just from watching the previews and saved you the money and brain cells."
I went to see the new film "Bruno," about an Austian fashionista who comes to America to be a celebrity.
Such a film should not be allowed in a family theater or anywhere. Stay away, it will make you sick. It makes you wonder why the world is like it is. Heaven help us.

Also? This is a very cute picture. The "Leverage" cast seems like they're a lot of fun and would be great friends.
