Mar. 20th, 2009 10:57 pmI am *so* glad it's the weekend.
The doctor's appointment this morning went exceedingly well and I am now hearing in stereo again. Susie, the nurse that I always seem to get, did the actual cleaning out part of the appointment and it wasn't until after she cleaned out the right ear, that I realized that my left ear was also partially clogged (but much less so than the right).
Then Dr. A came in and looked in my ears again and did a couple hearing tests. He also said that the bottom 1/3 of my right ear drum looked like it had been stained by blood at some point prior to this incident. And due to that, and I think just as a precaution or something, he wanted me to stop in again so he could check my ears again in a couple weeks. When I was being checked out at the desk afterwards, I asked if Dr. A could just be my doctor and was told that wouldn't be a problem, so I set up an appointment for a physical in two weeks, figuring I could kill three birds with one stone (get a doctor, get a physical, have my ears checked out in a few weeks).
I grabbed some breakfast on the way home and was able to eat and have enough time to ride my bike to work. \O/
I was pretty productive at work, which continued my feeling of accomplishment. After the past two or three days being *the* *longest* *day* *ever*, it was a nice change.
Went to my mom's tonight and watched an episode of "House", so now I'm only one episode behind.
On the way home, I thought about stopping at Rita's for free water ice, since I hadn't had time to do it earlier, and when I went by, the line was still hugely long - at 8:45pm! So no free water ice for me. :-(
I did get home in time to see "Dollhouse". Which - DUDE. I can't wait to see how this plays out.
