Oct. 19th, 2008 11:34 pmToday continued last night's theme of Yay! Productivity!
After church and Sunday School (which had the funny moment of Kurt drawing a map to his house and putting a barn as a landmark and next to it a cow and saying, "And clearly that's a cow"), I went to Panera where I did a chunk of writing and am now just over halfway through part 40. Whoo! (Then it hit me that today was the last weekend day I'd be at Panera working on my epic of doom. I know I'll be there working on other things, but still.... It was a little bit exciting and a little bit sad - since I've been working on this thing for so long.)
After that I stopped at Best Buy and ended up getting one of my mom's Christmas gifts and finding a case to carry my portable cd player. (I was starting to think I was dreaming this thing up and that it was more a case of me *wanting* it to be out there than it actually existing. I should have known it would be made by Case Logic. They make practically everything.)
Then I went to Goodwill to look for some things for my Halloween costume. While there, I got a really good idea and I might not have to pay for it at all.
From there I headed to the mall and got some new pants for work and two more things for my mom, so she's now finished for Christmas. (Whoo!) I also now have ideas for Cheryl, Chase, and Yvonne, so we'll see. I also got a salad from Saladworks for dinner and brought it home to eat so I could read more of Xanthe's "Coming Home" (that story's rather addictive).
Tonight I watched The Bucket List - which I liked and finished making some cds for my mom. (It'll be amusing to see what she says about my ecclectic taste in music.) I also revised part 33 of my fic and did other odds and ends.
So, today was about getting lots of little things (and a chunk - 2400 words - of writing) done.
Having only one day off at a time throws me off.
