Don't you get standard blood work at a yearly physical type thing anyway? They check blood sugar in that. You could always ask your doctor what the results of your last one were, then relay that to your dad along with the info that they check it every year. Just to, you know, shut him up. Or you could not check with your doctor but TELL him you did. :-P

I think I do. I know I did the last time. But I don't get a yearly phyiscal - something about how, if I'm considered healthy (which I am, excess weight aside), they only want me in every 2-3 years.
