Well, I feel much better right now than I did this time last night. Still tired, though.

We did have a bit of non-student craziness today when the power went out in the textbook department and the office, which took the registers with them. So we had about twenty minutes without power, then it took a while longer to get things moving again because we had to turn the registers completely off, then turn them back on one by one.

I started reading John Barrowman's autobiography, Anything Goes, at lunch and it's a lot of fun so far - very humorous and a bit snarky. (And the footnotes are really amusing.)

After work I basically ran home, changed, and went to Panera for dinner to get away for a while. I had a very relaxing time there reading and eating, and I even did my writing for the night. (Yay!)

Your bookstore was open today? Jeez, if I'd known that, I would have freaking drove to Delaware to get the book that I'm failing to get (until tomorrow, which is, of course, when I'm supposed to have read the first two chapters by).

Then again...considering the LAST time my mother tried to drive me for a quick turn-around...maybe it was a good thing I DIDN'T know? ;-)

And, WTG on the writing. I swear, I WILL get to the e-mail you sent me soon.

Dude - we're open All. The. Time. We're closed for Election Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, (and sometimes either the day before or after those, but not always), Thanksgiving and Black Friday (surprisingly), and MLK Day. Otherwise, we're open unless a state of emergency has been declared. We're even open when the University's closed.

LOL. Yeah, maybe it's better you didn't. :-P Though, there is always the train.

Thanks. I'm slowly plugging along on my writing. I hope so! I want to know what you think.
