I've been having some weird stuff happen to me the past couple days. If weird things come in threes, I'm waiting for the third one.

Yesterday, I got a voicemail message that started, "Hi, Evan and Adrian. This is Ron Peck...." and he then went into talking about someone named Joey who's making some sort of recovery, but has hit a plateau.
Reasons why this is weird:
1. This was on my personal cell #.
2. I don't know anyone named Joey, let alone one that's recovering.
3. I knew a guy in college named Evan, but we were never close.
4. I don't know anyone named Ron Peck. (Although, when I googled the name, there is a Ron Peck listed on IMDB that's made gay movies.)
I hope the right people get that info and that everything turns out all right for everyone involved.

And on Sunday, right before I woke up, I had a dream that my Granddad kept feeling dizzy and was having problems sitting up and my dad had to help him. When I woke up, I thought it was just some weird dream, since I had seen my grandparents the night before and they had been fine. While I was getting ready for chuch, I happened to look into my dad's room - which is across the hall - and saw that it was unmade, which is odd since he usually makes his bed right away, but didn't think too much of it. A little later, my dad calls me and says that he's on his way home from my grandparents' house. He had to go over early because when my granddad got up, he was feeling really dizzy.

The second one, I can probably explain:

If you were even slightly awake, and your dad stopped by your room to tell you what was going on before he left, it's very likely that you would have processed that into your dream (the same way I tend to dream about baseball when I fall asleep with the game on, and the score in the game is frequently the same as the RL score, even if I felt like I was asleep hours before the game ended).

As for the first one...di the guy leave a number?! :-)

First one - no.

Second one - my dad actually left the house at about 5:30. My dream was at 7:30.

EEK @ the second one! That's freakydeaky. I got a call on my answering machine once from someone who was clearly calling from jail and had called us with his one phone call--wrong number! I kind of felt bad for him, heh.

On the first one, I'm guessing that's just a weird-ass wrong number cross-up thingy. I used to get calls for "Mary" at odd hours of the morning from some drunk guy. Always the same drunk guy (which I knew because I began to recognize the phone number on my cell when it rang in) so clearly my number was close enough to that Mary's number that he mixed 'em up.

On the second, honey, there are sometimes just things that happen that we can't explain. Makes life more interesting. *grin*

Yeah, the second one was freaky. I did see my granddad later in the day (because I had to drop something off at their house), so it was nice to see with my own eyes about that. (Not that my dad would lie that my granddad wasn't feeling better, but I'm sure you know what I mean.)

I felt bad for these people too, since there's obviously something serious going on there. So I said a quick prayer from them and haven't heard back. My phone wasn't on at the time of the call, so I didn't get the number. If I had, I would've called him back and told him I was the wrong number.

On the first, I'm sure it was. It was the first and (hopefully) last time I've heard from him. I still said a quick prayer for them, just in case. We once got a call from someone trying to call the hospital, not really sure how, since the numbers weren't very close at all.

And the second - I know. :-P That was one of them. Just like the ghost at work.
