eternalmusings, luvxander, and I went to the National Zoo. The heat and humidity made me think of when I was at the Oklahoma City Zoo last year (though it wasn't quite as bad because it was cloudy).
The new Asia Trail was neat and I enjoyed watching one of the red pandas get fed a snack. I also loved going to the elephant house (which I've always loved) and the baby's gotten so big! (Granted, the last time I was at the zoo was about two years ago.) And they're in the process of making a new habitat for the elephants, which is cool. No idea where the giraffes are, though (since they used to be in the same area as the elephants).
When we came home, I made dinner, sinceeternalmusings' back still hurt and I wanted her to relax some before she had to go teach her class tonight. And now luvxander and I are getting ready to watch an episode of "Doctor Who".
