Next year, I'm *so* taking the Monday after [livejournal.com profile] tribalforces off. Today just kicked my ass. I'm sure a big part of it was that I didn't get enough sleep last night and had to be at work at 7:45 this morning.

We're getting ready for inventory at the end of the week at work, so things have been crazy trying to get everything organized. I think if we can survive this week, we'll be good.

Writing is both good and bad tonight. Good because I want to do it. Bad because I'm still tired from the weekend, so I don't want to do it (plus I haven't written in the past four days). But I know that if I don't, I'll have a *really* hard time getting back into it.

Meh. My allergies are starting to kick in.

For some reason, I *never* remember to take the day after a con off...but I'm always so impressed with those folks who do. You'd think I'd eventually figure it out.

And what'cha writing?

LOL! Yeah I've gotten use to taking the day after a con off cause I KNOW I'd be worthless at the office if I went in. :)

Yeah, I never remember either. I might've - once, but if I did, that was because I was getting home really late.

I'm writing an SGA epic that's Rodney-centric. He gets stranded on a planet during a routine "meet-n-greet" mission and goes native before being rescued by SGA-1 and returned to Atlantis where he has to readjust to being back on Atlantis and convincing John that he should move on, since Rodney has. The fic starts out as John/Rodney, becomes Rodney/OFC, then finally becomes Rodney/Chuck/Lorne and John/Carson. I'm having fun with it, since I'm intrigued by that genre, plus my Stargate voice is closer to Jack than Rodney. :-P

And now I'm also trying to figure out the specifics of a plot bunny I got over the weekend.

Normally, I'm okay, but yesterday - not so much. :-)

Well, there's always next year. :-P

Wow!! That sounds like a *huge* writing project. I'll be interested to know how folks react to it when you post it.

Good luck with the bunny!

It is! When I'm finished, it's going to be around 250,000 words. But that's good for me, since I tend to tell instead of show and hopefully, this will help me work on that. I'm interested in knowing how they react too.

Thanks!
