Mar. 23rd, 2008 11:42 pmThe choir anthem went well this morning, so yay there.
I was rather shocked and worried, though, when I happened to look out over the congregation right after the first hymn of the first service and see a friend sitting back down in the pew in front of my grandparents and my dad helping my grandfather (who's still in good health, even at 80) up and escorting him out with a hand at his elbow and my grandmother following them. Obviously, there were a couple frantic phone calls after the service to see what was going on. Apparently, my grandfather took some Tylenol this morning since his back was hurting a bit after helping my dad work on putting up a new fence yesterday, then took his blood pressure medicine, so it made him dizzy and light-headed. But he was fine after he went home and laid down for a few hours.
Our Easter dinner went well over at my grandparents' house. We had the normal - ham, potato salad, baked beans, eggs (hardboiled and deviled), yams, and asparagus. And we had the traditional Easter bread, as well as strawberries for dessert. (Though, I don't know what my grandmother calls it. Will have to ask her.)
I got all my writing done today, plus some revisions on a couple of earlier parts, so yay there as well.
I also watched Outing Riley, which was done based on
wesleysgirl's suggestion and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
