Feb. 12th, 2008 11:59 pmSo, this evening I talked with a very nice Verizon customer service rep who, after I told him what's been going on, apologized profusely for not having the problem fixed (which I thought was amusing, since it wasn't his fault). He then went to the account to see what was going on and said that for some reason, there was an error in the order going out, so he fixed that and replaced the order, so he said it should go out tomorrow and that we should have it by Thursday. *crosses fingers* He also said that if, for some reason, that didn't work, he'd have a technician come out and fix it.
Also, tonight I was up at Arsht Hall and it was freezing! My location up there in Fall and Spring is in a separate building that's only used when we're up there, and basically only the lights work. I have two tiny space heaters, but they do very little in the way of heat.
On the upside, I was able to get some writing done and I think the typing helped keep my fingers warm. Or, at the very least, flexible.
