Feb. 9th, 2008 02:29 pmSo, apparently the library doesn't mind me on LJ at all if I bring my laptop. (Yay wifi at the library!)
I got over nine hours of sleep last night. I mention this because for-who-knows-how-long I've been getting about 5, *maybe* six. That just boggles the mind. And I know I need *at least* 6 on a regular basis. (Though, preferably at least 7.) Really need to figure out how to fix that.
Was surprised to come home from my small Bible study group to find my brother asleep on the couch with the tv on. (He got his own place at the beginning of last month.)
I've decided to take a break from that small group - haven't quite decided if it's going to be temporary or permanent - due in part to the fact that I've missed a number of our meetings for the past two lessons. The other part being because there's about a 20 year difference between me and the next youngest in the group. While I think it's good to share experiences with others who are at different points in their faith walk, I'm not sure, this time, how good it is. The easiest way of explaining it is "They're all Republicans!", but that seems like a childish and stupid reason. (And it probably is.) I want to stay and use our differences as a way to challenge all of us on how we think about things (like the comment that was made about Heath Ledger), but I usually don't know what to say (since the things I differ on come up infrequently) and I don't want us to be fighting every time something does come up.
In other news, February's kicking my ass in writing. I'm doing pretty well in keeping my head above water with keeping up with my daily wordcount, but barely. (Having less days really messes with things.) I'll get through this month, though, the same way I've decided I'm going to get through this story - out of spite. :-P
In completely unrelated news, I need to through the icons I've been saving up and find more "daily use" icons.
