sam_gamgeeWe had a good Christmas today. (Though family is still here and I'm starting to go into "please go home" mode.)
Some of my gifts:
My dad got me a gift certificate for a nearby spa so I can get a massage and some new slippers that I wanted.
My grandparents got me a nice sweater and some shoes I wanted and also gave me some money.
My mom and John got me tickets to see Twelve Angry Jurors, a copy of the book of Band of Brothers, another Stephen Ambrose WWII book, and a portable external harddrive (which I wasn't expecting, since I only asked for a gift card so I could go get one I had picked out, but this is really cool).
My brother got me a number of things for my bike - new seat (really needed), some reflectors and my bookbag. (Last year he got me a new bookbag - which I use on my bike - but I haven't used *any* bookbag for most of this past year and apparently he didn't take it very well that I haven't used it. Now, while I find this mildly amusing, he had to go into my closet to get it and for some reason I feel that this an invasion of my space and it's chafing more than I'd expect. And he and my dad don't see why I don't find it quite as funny as they do.)
